We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Training Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing technical training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce. This role is critical to ensuring our team stays updated with the latest industry practices, safety standards, and technological advancements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive technical training programs tailored to the needs of our civil construction projects.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed within the organization.
• Create and update training materials, manuals, and presentations that align with industry standards and company objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate training programs for effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes.
• Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
• Leverage technology and e-learning platforms to enhance the delivery and accessibility of training programs.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and HR to align training initiatives with company goals and project demands.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, certifications, and employee progress.
• Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Education, or a related field equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical training within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of civil construction processes and at least 2 years in a training or instructional role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
• Relevant certifications in training and development, such as CPTD (Certified Professional in Training and Development), are preferred.
